Hey there, this is Gene Arant with Keller Williams Realty, bringing you the latest September market numbers for the Austin, TX area. Here’s what we’re seeing:

Sale Price: The median sale price has dipped slightly, down about 4% to around $450,000.

Days on Market: Homes are now averaging 67 days on the market, signaling a more balanced market between buyers and sellers.

Inventory: The number of homes for sale has increased by about 12%

Homes Sold: There has been a 14% decline in the number of homes sold

As we look ahead, we’re keeping an eye on interest rates, which we anticipate may decrease by November. However, we’ll be closely watching October sales to see how the latest adjustments play out.
